A chateau whose vineyards and winemaking has been hugely upgraded under owner Jonathan Maltus since he acquired the property in 1994. Planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, meticulous grape selection and minimal handling is employed during the winemaking and the wine is aged for about 12 months in a mixture of new and used French oak barrels. A wine that has a deep colour, fresh fruit expression and good length and balance.
